My dad taught me to love out loud. I will always be grateful to him for this because I seek great pleasure from loving others with abandon.

If you read my articles, you know, I forgo sending Christmas cards and instead send Valentine’s Day cards. (It’s a holiday survival technique I adopted three years ago.)

I decided that this Valentine’s Day I would change it up a bit.

I decided to love out loud but with a side of edgy.

You see, plenty of people – family and friends – wonder aloud about what we think about Will being a drag queen – some even ask in hush-hush tones, like it’s something dirty. And, quite frankly, I’m getting tired of it.

Thus, I used our Valentine’s Day card this year to declare our love and support for Will, as both Will and Ariana to anyone who wondered.

Telling the world where we stand, that we love and accept every side of Will is my latest expression of loving out loud. And I think my dad would approve. 🙂

It’s resonated with many. I’ve received numerous emails and texts in support and awe of declaring our love so publicly.

I want everyone to experience the freedom and excitement that comes from authentically presenting their love to the world.

So, I wonder.

How might you release some love into the world that others may think is creative, edgy or bold?

Try it and see how much lighter you feel.

I’d love to hear about your declaration of love. Hit reply and let me know how it goes.

From our family to yours, wishing you love with a side of edgy.
