NCLEX Mindset Mastery Action Pack

You don’t realize it yet, but in the next three minutes, you’ll be shouting prayers of THANKS because you found the solution you’ve been seeking!

A solution to calm your overriding test anxiety and tame your negative thoughts about

Passing the NCLEX.

You’re in the right place if you answer, “yes” to any of these questions.

    • Has your attention span been hijacked by worry about failing the NCLEX?
    • Do you wish you could calmly approach studying without mean girls showing up in your head to have a gossip session about why you might fail the NCLEX?
    • Are you afraid you will sit down at the computer, poised to take the exam only to have your mind go blank when the questions pop up on the screen?

I remember sitting to take my NCLEX:

feeling the pit of dread in my stomach,

holding my pencil (yes I’m that old) with hands that were trembling,

and worrying that I was going to be that person who prevented our nursing program from achieving the coveted 100% pass rate that they were accustomed to achieving.

I passed, thank the Lord, as did all of my classmates.

The sigh of relief!

Sadly though, that wasn’t the last time I felt that way. For most of my college years I had racing thoughts and thought I was going to vomit with worry every time I sat for an exam.

All in the name of TEST ANXIETY.

And I knew it wasn’t just me. You see, too many of my students at the university had failed the NCLEX when I knew they had enough knowledge to sail right through the exam.

So, I started investigating.

I knew that review courses often include test anxiety solutions like this, “Get a good night’s sleep the night before your exam. Eat a nutritious breakfast. And have good thoughts.”

How did I know? Because this was the same crappy advice I received and was still freaked out of my mind with test anxiety. And 30 years later my students were still hearing the same things.

While these strategies are important for success on the NCLEX, I wondered how my students were calming their minds so that they could study and practice test questions. How were they taming their worried thoughts from boarding the next run-away train?

Sadly, they weren’t. And as a result, some were not successful.

So, I decided I was going to really figure this whole NCLEX Success thing out.

For once, I wanted an evidence-based solution… not a possible solution but a sure-shot, carved-in-stone solution.

And so I did it.

I gave it my all (time, money, effort) and I am incredibly proud of the results I have managed to get for my clients using these strategies.

In fact, I use the strategies that I teach you in this action pack every day. And they work.

A Mindset Mastery Success Story

“When I took the next and final step of my journey to become a nurse and finally picked a date to take the NCLEX I was more stressed, worried, and excited than I had ever been during my journey to become an RN.

In nursing school, I learned very early that when I felt this way, the best thing I could do was turn to Dr. B. She was always there to assist me and provide me the proper tools and resources to center my emotions and enter the next task as stress-free and as mentally prepared as possible. The NCLEX was no different.

Dr. B.’s resources were so incredibly helpful I truly believe I would not have passed if I did not use them.

These resources helped calm my nerves and get all of my thoughts into one centered place so that I could walk through those doors to take the exam with a positive outlook and little to no weight on my shoulders. Dr. B.’s resources taught me how to acknowledge what I have done and what I haven’t to help myself pass, and to be okay with that. Her tools helped me verbally say and even write down all of the negative thoughts that were going through my head so I could get them all out to allow positive thoughts in.

Her tools truly helped me clear all of the extra, heavy weighing thoughts out of my mind so it was fresh, clear, and ready to think about what the NCLEX was questioning me on and only that. Had my mind been focused on everything that was holding me back, it would not have been focused on the task at hand. Dr. B. helped me instill confidence in myself and when I didn’t have it, she did. Her support along this journey has truly been unmatched.

NCLEX Practice

And I truly believe without her coaching and tools, I wouldn’t have succeeded the way that I did. I will forever be greatly to Dr. B. and all she has provided me.”
